Cloud hosting is a relatively new concept. It does not operate on a single server system. Instead, it involves many layers of servers, which makes it really secure and reliable. This is the most scalable type of hosting because you, pay for exactly what you use. It’s good for start-up websites that are planning on upcoming traffic spikes. Cloud hosting is very fast and secure and completely scalable. It can be much more expensive than shared hosting.
